Ervin Michael Kraemer is the co-founder of AquaLocate® and PetroLocate®, veteran-owned companies specializing in groundwater and petroleum exploration technologies. For more than 25 years, he has dedicated his career to advancing exploration methods designed to help clients make more informed drilling and resource development decisions before significant capital is invested in the ground.

Throughout his career, Ervin Michael Kraemer has worked with landowners, agricultural producers, municipalities, engineers, hydrologists, utilities, humanitarian organizations, and energy professionals across the United States and internationally. His work has contributed to projects throughout North America, South America, and Africa, helping clients better understand subsurface conditions prior to drilling.

 

As the principal developer and trainer behind the GF7 groundwater imaging system and the PL24 petroleum exploration system, Ervin has spent decades refining field methodologies, data acquisition procedures, interpretation techniques, and operator training programs. His focus has always been practical application — providing clients and independent operators with actionable subsurface information that can improve exploration decision-making.

Prior to founding AquaLocate and PetroLocate, Ervin served in the United States Air Force, where he built a reputation for professionalism, technical competence, and leadership. His military career included positions of significant responsibility and continued advancement throughout his years of service.

Today, Ervin Michael Kraemer continues to lead field operations, operator training, equipment development, and technical interpretation efforts for AquaLocate and PetroLocate. He works directly with clients and independent operators, providing hands-on instruction, ongoing technical support, and guidance in the application of groundwater and petroleum exploration technologies.
