About Us

AquaLocate company mission supporting groundwater discovery and well planning.

Our Mission

UNMATCHED INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE IN THE INDUSTRY

At AquaLocate, we’re committed to helping people find water—ethically, accurately, and before a single hole is drilled. Since 2001, our founders have worked to transform the well drilling process through seismoelectric technology that makes groundwater location more precise, accessible, and reliable.

With every project, we strive to embody integrity—by providing clear, honest data on aquifer depth, yield, and thickness, so our clients can move forward with confidence. Through the GF7 system, in-depth training, and ongoing support, AquaLocate empowers individuals and operators around the world to plan successful well projects and access one of life’s most essential resources: fresh water.

HISTORICAL BACKGROUND AND INTERNATIONAL IMPACT

For over 20 years, AquaLocate founder Ervin Kraemer has led the development of seismoelectric groundwater survey technology, evolving the original GF6 into today’s advanced GF7 system. With data from over 70,000 soundings across more than 30 countries, AquaLocate has supported well drilling projects worldwide and trained a global network of certified operators through its hands-on, in-depth programs.

A Legacy of Innovation and Global Impact

The GF7 (modified and upgraded GF6) Seismoelectric Exploration System is designed to detect and image resistive liquid beneath layers of rock, sediments, and soils by transmitting a seismic pulse that disrupts the natural ions in the liquid.

STATE-OF-THE-ART TECHNOLOGY

The GF7 Seismoelectric Exploration System

The GF7 (modified and upgraded GF6) Seismoelectric Exploration System is designed to detect and image resistive liquid beneath layers of rock, sediments, and soils by transmitting a seismic pulse that disrupts the natural ions in the liquid.

Mapping Capabilities

Leveraging the gathered data, we can generate in-depth maps and profiles showcasing aquifer depth, thickness, and lateral variations, thereby improving the accuracy of groundwater resource management.

Depth and Yield

Designed for deep investigations, the GF7 is equipped to explore depths 500 meters (1,600+ feet) or more and the PL24 system can detect resistive liquid zones as deep as 3,000 meters (9,800 feet).

Productivity and Applications

The GF7’s superior signal-to-noise ratio enables the completion of as many as forty plus sounding sites daily by seasoned GF7 operators. Its applications span across civil and environmental engineering projects, agricultural, frac water development, geothermal and geological investigations.

LEGACY AND LEADERSHIP

Guided by Expertise and Experience

Established by Ervin and Christine Kraemer, AquaLocate started as a family-run venture. After years of close collaboration with Dr. R Clarke, Ervin dedicated himself to improving seismoelectric technology, while Christine handled the company’s global marketing efforts.

“As of September 2024, we have finalized the last stages of our next-generation seismoelectric exploration instrument, the GF7. This enhanced technology is designed to be more user-friendly while preserving the effectiveness and reliability of the existing system.”
